Welcome to the Arts Council of Northumberland’s website! The ACN's goal is to enhance communications within the arts, culture and heritage organizations located in the County of Northumberland, Ontario, Canada. The ACN promotes the arts, culture and heritage, and their related events throughout the County and the region.

Northumberland County has a rich and varied tradition of cultural activities for all to choose from.

This web site contains a calendar of arts, culture and heritage events taking place throughout the County of Northumberland.

Scheduled events can be viewed by artistic discipline, which have been divided into the following categories:

• Our Theatre Calendar features a wealth of performing arts from mystery to comedy.
• Visit our Music Calendar for a variety of events to suit all taste, from folk to classical to country.
• The Visual Arts Calendar presents Northumberland art galleries and their associated events and exhibitions.
• Meetings of the County's various writers’ groups and readers' groups, as well as literary events can be found in our Literary Arts Calendar.
• Our Film Calendar will inspire you to a greater understanding of past, present and future achievements of Canadian and international filmmaking.
• The Community Calendar provides information on a wide range of dynamic festivals and special events happening throughout the year in Northumberland.
• The Crafts/Artisans Calendar provides information on the wide range of crafts and artisans in the County, ranging from beautiful works of native artisans at Alderville to rug hooking, quilting, stitchery and many others.
• Check out the Heritage Calendar to find events that celebrate the historical achievements and richness of Northumberland County.
