Artist's Statement

Evocative paintings and drawings: sometimes tender, sometimes bold depict characters and situations in lush and layered acrylic and mixed media. Celebrating the splendour of the body expressively and abstractly the canvases are infused with a mood of inquiring stillness. Colour and composition are dynamic and personal.

Bio

With a Master of Fine Arts from Syracuse University & extensive studies in: England, France, Canada, Japan this artist's production is also strongly influenced by teaching at Red River College in Winnipeg and in Toronto -The Ontario College of Art & Design.
