Northumberland has been working to assist performing
arts groups co-ordinate their performance schedules in order to avoid
conflicts. It’s a difficult task considering the limited number of venues
available to us. We tried a long term calendar on the ACN website but that
didn’t really work well. It was finally agreed that a simple meeting(s) of
the organizations involved would be best way of achieving this goal. We
invite you to join us at for a get-together to meet members of the other
Northumberland arts groups and discuss schedule planning issues. This will
also provide an opportunity for the ACN to share with you its new

Osmond’ photography demonstrates a
broad palette of imagery: startling beauty, inexplicable joy, and
overwhelming contrasts. She
saw startling beauty in the African people, especially the children, as
well as in the wild animals in their natural habitat. Inexplicable joy
burst forth in spontaneous a cappella singing and dancing even while these
young people struggled to overcome adversity. There were overwhelming
contrasts in the rich and the poor, in modern shopping malls and country
markets, and in the beauty of the land. This African experience brought
tears and laughter, sorrow and joy. Until February
