Northumberland Community
Futures Development Corporation (Northumberland CFDC) has launched a
“Cultural Sector Loan”
for artists throughout Northumberland County. The Cultural Sector loan will
give artists in all art forms the flexibility to invest in their studios,
their work and their businesses. The loans are available to provide start up capital as
well as capital purchase and venture capital with flexible security,
competitive interest rates and reasonable administration fees.They also
create new opportunities for graduating students in the cultural sector to

clients enhance an existing collection with in-situ colour,

fulfill the needs and sensibilities of the individual client, rather than to
impose her own taste.
Another project is “Folded&Gathered”, a fine press and

Ad Hoc studio exhibition at AGN Port Hope to November 22. The
Art Gallery of Northumberland in Port Hope is pleased to present its latest
exhibition of paintings by the adult students of the AD HOC studio. These
talented artists produce vibrant and eclectic works under the mentorship of Port Hope
artist, Fiona Crangle. The exhibition runs until
November 22 at the AGN’s Port Hope location, 60 Walton St. Port Hope. The gallery is open Wednesday
to Saturday 11 to 5 and Sunday 1 to 4. The gallery also features a selection
of fine crafts produced by a variety of regional artists. The shop is a good
