Artist's Statement

I love to paint!!! The walls can come tumbling down on me and I wouldn't notice it. It is so relaxing and I lose all track of time. I am sure all of you know what I mean.

I use oil and watercolour but not much acrylics. One day I am going to get the hang of that! Am hoping to try watercolour pencil one time soon. Wish me luck! Variety is the name of the game for me, you never know what the next person will be interested in and you don't have any monotomy doing it.

Bio

I have been painting off and on from the '60s and am now a pretty steady painter since moving to Cobourg, Ontario 8 years ago.

Have exhibited at the Cobourg Waterfront Festival for the last 3 years and also the Brighton Apple Festivel Lions Club Art Show and Sale. I am a member of the Cobourg Art Club, The Spirit of The Hills and a member of the Northumberland Art Council and have had a couple of other smaller shows here and there.

I had an exhibit at Warkworth's "Long Lunch" back in August 2007 and enjoyed meeting the wonderful people there. It is a lovely town and I took several pictures that I hope to paint at some point.
