Leah Murray, Photographer/Digital Imaging Artist

Bio

Leah is the proprietor of Digital Visions Imaging, based in Trenton, Ontario. Her twin passions are for photographing animals of all sorts in their environments and restoring and retouching family photos and archival images. She has been working in these areas for the past eight years and holds a number of certifications from Humber College in Digital Imaging and Photographic Techniques.

Leah offers classes and seminars in addition to her work in photography. Her love of hands-on nature photography is fulfilled and sustained by her leadership of the Rolling Hills Photo Tours in fall, spring and winter.

Her photos of horses have placed in competitions in the USA, and she has been heavily involved in past years with the Pet Portraits Charity Photo Shoots in various venues and in support of local animal charities. Published in such diverse media as print journals (lichen and At Home in York), on the internet and in scientific research presentations, Leah enjoys a range of expression that continually stretches her skill sets and challenges her abilities.

She is delighted to find that responses to her work include increased interest in the animals and environment that sustain us.
